Early mornings and late nights are scheduled to allow maximum time for wildlife viewing and exploration
Travelers must be able to walk at least 1 mile unassisted on dirt trails with uneven terrain, inclines, and possibly muddy or slippery surfaces
Some days include more than one scheduled hike
Travelers must be physically independent and able to maintain balance to participate in planned activities
Travel by van and Snowcoach
Frequent vehicle entry and exit based on scenery and wildlife
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Daytime temps range from 30–90°F over the season
Overnight temps can drop below freezing, depending on season and altitude
Yellowstone temps vary widely with season and elevation
Elevation ranges from 4,800 to 8,400 feet
